Hi, first off my subs rms is 300w and my amps sub channel is 225w @4ohm, i currently have the gain set about half way for the sub but want to know how much more it can take and not start to clip etc. The sub max power output is 900w. Also have the bass boost dial set about half and also max bass boost on the HU.
Another question but about frequencys, i have the frequency's set according to my amp for speakers and sub but dont know if its right. Theres also a high pass filter on the HU for the sub and speakers so would that be better turned off and let the amp control the frequency?
The sub is a Vibe liteair optisound auto 8 passive
