Technical Subframe compatability

My long serving Weekend (1.9JTD110) has just failed the MOT - needs a a new front subframe, which is proving difficult to source.
I have heard the subframe is identical on the Brava, Bravo and Coupe - is this correct?

Welcome to the forum Kevin. Have you tried fiat directly? Just wondering if they are out of stock.

It might be worth looking for cars listed as "spares or repairs" or "breaking" on eBay and contact the seller to see if he has one available.

While your cross-referencing part numbers on ePer check the Alfa GTV from the same era its subframe should be the same too. Fiat Tipo's aswell.

If your keeping the car id recommend getting the second hand frame stripped powder coated and probably fill the cavities with some kind of oil. I was even thinking of looking at the non-stick coating you can get now.

Tipo , and coupe are the same.. 90% sure..,
BUT my Tipo's subframe went in @1997 so doubt if you'd find a good one now..,

If worst comes to the worst you could just but a cheap car for the subframe.

Look on eBay for coupes breaking.

Brava, bravo ,marea took, multipla all have same front subframe
