I want to die peacefully in my sleep, just like my grandmother. Not like the rest of the screaming passengers in her car.

Well my new sub pictured above and the right box + my new 1600w RMS amp powering that single sub should put me into the high 140's maybe lower 150's he he !!

Re: Re: Hmmmm

The package used for the 3D images is called ProEngineer developed by a company called PTC. Never heard of them? they are the 4th biggest software developer in the world!

It is a 3D modelling suite and the basic version costs around £6000. For all the add-ons for animation, mould flow analysis, stress analysis etc it will set you back a couple of hundred thousand. I used it to get the internal volume of the box as it will give me the volume at the click of a button then i can shave a bit off or add a bit on to adjust it. A hell of a lot easier than calculating of paper! If you just want basic 3D shapes like i did then TurboCAD and AutoCAD will do the same. If you want to make it look really fancy then you could use ProE or SolidWorks. I only wanted to show the principal though so i only spend a few mins on it!

Anyway, lets stop talking about the tools and back to the cars! Those installs all look pretty sweet! I'm going to have mine removable so i can still use the boot. Will put a pic up when it's done!

Cheers everyone. Al
