sub remote wire help

hi all need help with the remote wire for my sub when ive previously connected this blue wire to the blue wire on the back of the stereo when i do so i get the msg on the dash saying loose connection is there another wire i connect this to or another way of doing it

Put the remote cable onto the positive on your cigarette lighter, hope this helps
