Sub help please

Hi,
thinking of buyin another 2 subs for my car, the sub im after is a 15" 1200w RMS sub that runs at dual 4 ohm,
im a bit rusty at all the audio stuff as havent really had the time to look into it recently,
but the amp im after runs at 1200w rms at 1 ohm, and 850w rms at 2 ohms, obviously im looking to use the amp at 1 ohm due to the perfect power match to the sub, but if i buy 2 amps and 2 subs, will 1 amp run 1 of the subs at 1 ohm or will the amp be working at 2 ohms ?

A dual 4ohm speaker can be wired to 8 or 2, not 1ohm.
