How do you know when to use a sealed sub box or a ported one?

And does anybody have any 12'' stealth boxes or know where to get em other than auto acoustics. There a bit pricey.

if you look at the spec of your sub it should tell you the size and kind of box to use.

Yeah all depends on your sub. Here's my box
As you can see...quite small!! Makes the sub look tiny but it's 12". It drops VERY low though so it's worth it

I have a Pioneer TS-W306c Sub and the Recommended enclosure is a sealed (Litres) 24 - 49.6
