I'll try and find some wadding when I get to work. I deadened the boot floor all the way under the rear seats, The rear quater panels and also the boot lid. I basically striped the whole of the trim out of the rear of the car and deadened. The floor and rear quaters are IMO the best place to start and you really don't need to go as anal as I did.
My friend had a large enclosure just wedged in the boot of his corsa. We spent a day making a false floor, bolted it to cars floor and bolted the enclosure to that. Added a tiny bit of sound deadening inside the boot lid and used foam to stop the rattles. The difference it made was immense.

I might have to buy another sheet to do the floor, might be able to do a little bit of it. (maybe under wear the sub sits would be a great start)
To be honest when I think about i'm sure just the floor and rear panels would be ok. Just ordered some new cable, the stuff I got with my amp pack I wasn't really happy with, also I couldn't get it to reach all the way round to my passenger door speaker so I was going to splice onto it to extend it, I decided for £15 I'd be better off just buying complete new cable and rerunning it.
I can't believe how long my install has taken so far, it seems never ending, I can see a light at the end of the tunnel now!

LOL ive been doing mine since July.
The deadening just makes the panels heavier. Think of the difference between a 12" sub in a house which is made of concrete and has no resonance and a car which is made of flimsy metal and tons of resonance.
And no need to thank that is what im here for. It would be nice to have a mention on TA. It seems that TA gets all of the commercial credit for the people that get help here.

Its like any forum though you get your really good genuine people who will bend over backwards to help you out, then you get the ones who will only give time of day to the elite. Us mere mortals dont deserve to be on there.
Still if you ever have any free time it will help you all no end just to have a look around some of the threads on there, as you will certainly learn a thing or 2.
