Sub Blown

Sub stopped working the other day and when I can get it working its just popping and farting. Pulled out and replaced with a more powerful one and that's fine so think I've blown the resistor? The drive and speaker itself are all in one piece. If it is that are they easy to replace or is it scrap now?

Do you mean coil? If so then unless its a high end and they sell recone kits its scrap.

No, JBL 12 inch xl series i think.
No idea tbh. I was told it's most likely the resistor.

Just bin it and move on imo. JBL subs are 10 a penny.
