I would get lowering springs but it means i have to get shocks too.... And on the active sport bumper (the one i have just put on) are the fog lights or side lights on the bumper, need to know so i can wire them in appropriately to pass mot

If you aren't lowering more than 50mm you don't need to replace the shocks mate.

Can you not install seperate switch for the fogs?

Its advised that if you go lower than 35mm you should get shortened shocks, and i can but i main worry is the m.o.t, will it pass if i wire them into a manual switch and put the switch into my centre console?

Dont see why not? Only reason I can see it failing is if you fit them and they do not work?

Also about the shocks, you may be right - I have a Sporting which I think has shorter shocks anyways as the car is 10-20mm lower than other models anways?

Yeah that would seem about right... Well i suppose i might treat my self for xmas and get coilovers ?
