Hello people just joined up to FF, ive just got the punto, but i want to make it more personalised but i dont want it looking cheap or tacky or too boy racerish if you get me. I have tinted the windows and put active sport alloys on it but refurbed them and powder coated them gloss black, that is all i have done so far any want to do more but abit lost in ideas

Lovely car there, nice to see another 5 door ;) I own a silver mk2 elx. Onto the mods; cc wing mirrors
Active sport centre console
Tint rear lights/ side repeaters.

I can't think on the spot what else. I agree with you don't make it look tacky. Keep things original when modding ( use fiat parts). Subtle changes on a 5 door is always best. Above all though keep it serviced and she'll never let you down. Good luck with it :)

This is my 5 door mk2b with only alloys, wind deflectors and window tints

You can also fit mk2b side skirts and sport model front bumper from the 3 door (rear bumper won't fit) de badge the grill sides boot etc plenty of things you can do to change the appearance

Cheers you two! Im not too keen on smoking out my lights as i dont know if it will look decent, however i do want to debadge the grill and take that strip of plastic of the sides of my punto but unsure how and what to do with the holes it will leave once i (try) and take it off haha

The side strips are only glued on so no holes to worry about, however some people have taken them off to find repair work has been done on the car and the paint under the strips are a slightly different colour or that the strip was just masked over and there are now different layers of paint with a notable line.

Much better to colour code them as it avoids such risks

It would look a million times better with silver wheels. The car is simply not the right colour to use with black wheels, it spoils the whole car.:(

Remove the door bumpers, and debadge it - first thing I did to my own. Swapped the front grille for an FK, to remove the emblem, lowered 50/40 with Eibach's and fitted black side indicators.. Mine is still on the winter steelies, so no picture with decent alloys yet :)

Ahh thats a shame about the side black strips, and im not sure if i agree with you with you about the alloys, in person they look a million times better because you can notice the gloss and i havent seen many puntos that have bothered to refurbed and change the sporting alloys to their taste, they have just kept them standard. But however i am considering lowering it but i dont want to ''slam it on its arse'' i want it look neatly slouched if you know what i mean but im deffo considering debagding, but INTEERIOR????

I need to do something with that rear bumper! Anyone know what other splitters from other puntos that just bolt on?

Any more pics of your car buddy? And to black out your side indicators on the wings did you take it out or just maskin tape around the area then spray paint?

Im unfamiliar of these novitec? Please explain haha sorry, and yeah i look forward to seeing it, and im really want my side bumper stripes things taking off but i am fearing what it is covering up haha brinker

Novitec is a German aftermarket company - have a look at fiat-sportiva.de as they sell some of their bits for the Punto. Don't worry, the site is available in English as well.. ;)
Mine wasn't too bad behind the door bumpers, slight miscolouring, but not too bad really. Just take your time with a hairdryer (or heatgun) and then carefully cut through the tape with some fishing line.

I will give that ago this weekend along with all my other jobs.... And about that website i will take alook thank you. I dont suppose you know much about what alfa seats fit into mk2 punto, i only want the front 2 at the minute .

Yeah 156 seats are easier to get hold of than 146 but i need to be 100% that they will fit before i go buy them

And door cards, mine are horrible blue material and wondering if the sport active ones fit in the normal active so they go with the black leather ?
