Stupid question but i need to know....!

On my hgt there is a plastic cover on the right of the engine (and before the battery) with two crosshead screws in it, should this just unscrew to remove it because mine doesn't seem to slacken off. The screws turn but don't seem to unthread - is this knacked?

easy way to get them out is to pull lightly on the pastic cover upwards while unscrewing usually comes out then

To me it sounds like the airbox cover..

Both bolts should come out..

Found out a few weeks back that one of mine is buggered too....
