Technical stuck in gear

Hi, wonder if anyone can help fiat multipla diesel sometimes wont come out of gear , can anyone shed some light before i start to strip it down .It is a year 2000 it does eventually comes out of gear.thanks

Check that the clutch is fully disengaging. 9/10 the problem lies here

Not necessarily, it could be the slave or master cylinder, it could be air in the clutch actuation mechanism, the clutch forks are well known for sticking BUT the clutches just like all cars, yes do wear out. Can you change gear easily with the engine off ?
