Technical stuck ashtray / 12v socket flap

ashtray STUCK

it was stuck / stiff in the down / open position..
now it seems to be stuck UP.. ( I didn't do the repositioning..)

pain as I want to use the 12v socket..

any pointers..other than a BIG lever / screwdriver..

seem to recall other threads.. but a SEARCH found nothing.. and related BOO archives are now not able to be replied to..

I made some progress.
Prised it apart..found a wire clip with a grey plastic wheel-roller laid in the ashtray..
Cant see where its supposed to go though..
