Technical strange noise

i have a x reg 899cc sei and have a noise in my car which is bugging me.
couple of years ago i had a new gear box fitted to my car.(the garage i brought it from did it),i then took it back as the noise came back so they fixed it.Now the noise as came back but my local garage as said it is not the gearbox and they are baffled,they have drove it had it on ramps looked at the gearbox but they can think what it is unless they take my car apart which they dont want to and nor do i.the noise sounds like when im driving somthing loose or vibrating sorry cant really say what sound is like unless you hear it.pls help.

have you had anything done to the front bumper?

i had sommat similar


if so....check along the bottom inner of the bumper. if any plastic bits of trim that attach to the bumper are loose and do em up tight
