2 weeks ago, i started the car and received molty errors from the dashboard. The car stopped....
I restart it and Check engine error messege was on. This messege came back also after i went to central fiat support, and after they cleared the messege and did software update. Also they check engine was with about 30 error messeges and related to communication issues. I have noticed that after the error appeared the CITY button, power steering options , turned off. In the last week i didn't turned on this option (CITY) And the check engine light didn't appear!
I assume there is a connection between the CITY button and the communication issue.
Anybody else had this problem before?
What can be done?
Thanks

This question would be better asked in the correct section for the vehicle, and as asked above, the model detail added.
With most small Fiats, and other makes, multiple electrical issues all at once usually relate to a dying battery. It may show enough volts, but when starting, its power is low, giving a low voltage to all the ECUs (computers) and they do not like low voltage.
So first thing is to test the battery.
Also a good idea to check the main battery cables, the positive, from battery to starter, and the negative (earth) from battery, to body and onto gearbox. The negative cables corrode internally, breaking connection, or giving a high resistance.

Thanks.
The model is tipo 2017 1.6
I went again to the garage today
He found 32 errors.... a lot of them on communication
When he looked near the fuses he saw corrosion and rust.
It makes him think and me to recall that those errors came after raining ...
I think i should look for a leak
Can you suggest the best way to find it? Where is the common area for leaking into the electricity part?
Thanks

I'd look for blockages, rather than leaks.

Leaves and plant debris can gather under the scuttle, the bit under the windscreen wipers at the bottom of the 'screen. Especially if parking under trees.

This blocks the drainage holes and the water flowing off the windscreen will find the route of least resistance, which maybe over, or through the fuse box.

Like the others, I think the battery could be starting to die, it always shows itself at this time of year. The power steering is electric and is usually the first thing to show an error because it pulls a lot of current when manoeuvring out of a drive or parking space just after starting the engine.

It doesn't take a massive drop in battery performance to throw up errors.

Your problems could be a combination of both things

Thanks.

Which fuses the engine bay fuse box or the internal one behind the glove box?

Either way at the very least I'd disconnect the battery and remove each fuse and give it a good spray with electric contact cleaner then insert and remove the fuse a few time before leaving to dry out before reconnecting the battery

Thanks, what a great forum!
My battery was more than 2 years old. I replaced it, and the check engine light cleared immediately!
Thanks. Hope it solved it

Also search up Fiat 500 duck bills (don't typo 'duck bills' like I did or you'll get all sorts of, er, interesting sites) and you'll find some guides on where to find the scuttle drains - these block and from what's been said above, might be responsible for water overflowing onto the cabin fuses.

Hello Fiat mates.

Thanks for the assistance so far!

I replace the battery and since then, i have received the check engine light twice, but it have dissappeared by itself after few hours.

I suspect that the original error message is still exists in the computer,

I have checked with external app, car scanner, which can be enter the car computer through elm odbii and i saw that the error messege is confirmed but inactive

Im planning to go to the garage to ask them to clean the error, but meanwhile , is my assumption make sense?

I would guess you are correct. When I had similar after my battery was very low charge garage said comp showed old errors but did not require any action.
