lol, whoa check the abuse, yes i havent driven one or the other, but one of my parents is a motor journalist, and i get all sorts of information, and im not particularly anti fiat, i have a seicento, but i do find the fact that 90% of the people who are for the stilo own one and thats why you are quite bias about this whole thing, and basically putting this argument in a fiat forum or 'the fiat forum ' or whatever , so your all gonna think the better car being the astra is gonna be crap, because all fiat is the holy grail...
I actually looked at buying an Astra..that lasted about 2 days..got bored of the looks so fast..its a grandads car full stop... it is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over designed..the STILO has far better aggressive looks. The Astras' just a big mess on the outside, and the inside is as bland as Milton keynes..
Over the 5-6 months i was looking for a new car the only thing that came anywhere near to the Stilo was a new Mazda 323 sport or the RX-8 and to me they were over designed too and i got bored of the looks quite fast...plus the fact that the RX8 is only a 4 seater and i could only get the price down to £17,000...

is a phrase I hear a lot, but don't really understand???
Basically "Less is more"...
Well thats what it means to me...
There's just too much crap goin on with the exterior on the Astra, too many contrasting shapes..
The Stilo has the perfect balance to live with.

i disagree with such comments on the new astra, i know it is your opinion and that cannot be changed, but at least i can keep posting messages to disagree :)

the new astra hasnt coem out of its shell yet, as they havent released the GSi version yet, all you see is the nasty club and sxi jobbies which are pretty naff and basic inside, when the 3.0 litre V6 comes out it will be interesting to see how well it performs, as the car was given very good reports and reviews by top gear, and some mags such as autocar and autoexpress, which all say teh astra boasts excellent handling.

Such vial language, one should be ashamed of that kind of tongue, ok then i will direct it at you, you were proberly pissed and didnt notice you were actually looking at an L reg astra, i mean with you being a P.L.I

that means (Person of Limited Inteligence) i know you will struggle with them big words, try doing 3 letters at a time baby, and lay off the swear words.

the force in this thread is weak i sense it dying,

so the astra is a real winner then much better than some other manufacturers cars, like the renault megane, urgh horrible is that car
