Can anyone tell me what the removable bar behind the parcel shelf is for? The one with pull out blinds on it.

Is that really true for the 3 door ?
On the 5 door, the blinds automatically allow for the rear seats to move independently back/forwards & recline (so there's no gap between the back of the seat and the parcel shelf). It couldn't possibly replace the parcel shelf because it's facing the wrong direction.
i know on mine it could turn either way. so i presumed thats what it was for?

I take it these were an option, as I can't say i ever seen this bar thing????????? or am i being odd, LOL
I think it only fits the one way, and I don't remember there being any clips at the tailgate side either
I havent got one in my 02 3dr 1.8 dynamic could you post a pic of it please my rear seats are nearly always down and my boot is usually full of stuff and my shelf is stuck in the garage
