Technical Stilo Multiwagon 1.6 dynamic

Hi there folks - i'm hoping someone will be able to help me. We have a 1.6 multiwagon and recently it has been coming up with Airbag failure stop engine and beeping at us. I was told its common and not to worry about it but now its just annoying etc - is there a way to clear the error or override it? find out what it actually is?

Well - thanks for the info - I did a search and could not find the link - so cheers for finding it. Even though my post qty is low i have been here a while and know to look in the search bit first. Looks like a nice simple fix

Hi.

I know that you know the solution already but sometimes the cleaning of the plugs are not enought. I removed the battery wire under the hood and cutted out the plugs under both seats in the front. It means the cables are connected diretly with eachother. If the airbag will open than I think it is not mather how you are changing it but theoritically without the plugs the failure message will never come again. For me its working.
