Technical Stilo GT rough idle

I have a 2.4 GT (manual gear shift) with a rough or lumpy idle. Nothing shows up on Multiecuscan. I have put the spark plugs and coils from another GT that runs just fine but the problem did not go away. Any thoughts?

Hi Allen,

is it just idle, does it miss fire at all before clearing it's throat and going?

Have you done anything modifications to the engine, such as exhaust, air filter?

Is the car up-to-date with it's service schedule?

With little information to go on as a starting point check the condition of the throttle butterfly value for dirt and check the induction hoses and associated breather network for air leaks.

Also check the condition of the earthing points associated with the engine block.
