Technical Stilo gearbox works on the 2.0 20v?

Hi everyone! Its been a while since i talked abt the stilo build cuz it went off sale for a long time, but its came back up for sale and its alot cheaper now! Unfortunately this is because the car wont start anymore, but i could get some ez help to get it running again. I want to know 1 thing for this project: does the fiat stilo abarth 2.4 gearbox work with a fiat coupe engine? If i were to hypothetically put the 2.0T 20v engine in would i need to change the gearbox, especially for big power figures? I really need to know so dont be afraid to hit me hard with the truth

If that's the one from Redding Cars you might want to go and view the Google reviews of them BEFORE making any decisions about the car...

Well it should work with 2.0 20v engine as the mounting points on the engine self is the same but everything else will be fab work

It isnt, but ill keep an eye out for the future

Yeah it just says "Arain cars limited", i didnt know that they were the redding cars... Why exactly should i steer clear of them

Look at the Google reviews for both Arain Cars and Redding Cars, both listed at same address and both have same director.

I also didn't say 'Steer clear of them' as your saying, I said read the google reviews on the companies BEFORE making a decision on buying the car. The car was listed on ebay by Redding Cars at £890 with no faults listed and removed just after i replied to your thread on this forum:

Ah yes, i am very aware that it used to be £890 and it had "no problems" (it used to have a dodgy gearbox) so automatically that means the ebay advert is out-dated as its now £490. Like i said as the original post, they did say the car doesn't start so they cant be lying anymore about the car... I hope so at least lol. I did read a few reviews, most of them seem to be related.to customer service being poor which is fine because as ill be working in a garage soon i will have no need to contact them about fixing the car

I looked at that car when it was on sale in Birmingham last Jan 20.

Unfortunately I thought it was a tatty example, it had various warning lights on, scuffs and dents, the gearbox worked okay in 4 gears but it wouldn't select 5th, and all in all not worth considering. .

As a non working project car, even £490 seems expensive.

Olá a todos! Já faz um tempo que eu não falei sobre o stilo build porque ele saiu da venda por um longo tempo, mas voltou à venda e é muito mais barato agora! Infelizmente, isso ocorre porque o carro não pega mais, mas eu poderia conseguir ajuda para fazê-lo funcionar novamente. Eu quero saber uma coisa para este projeto: a caixa de câmbio Fiat Stilo Abarth 2.4 funciona com um motor Fiat Coupé? Se eu fosse hipoteticamente colocar o motor 2.0T 20v, precisaria trocar a caixa de marchas, especialmente para grandes figuras de potência? Eu realmente preciso saber, então não tenha medo de me bater forte com a verdade: p

Bom amigo a caixa de câmbio é, mas se sua caixa for selespeed (automática), aconselho a converter para manual.
quanto à parte do motor, pode usar o motor completo e a elétrica completa e lancia tehsis 2.0 20v ECU, que é a mesma que a eletrônica do stilo.
I'm making 3 2.4 20v turbo engines myself and I intend to use the original style electronics
