My recently purchased Stilo has non working Air Con. I brought it to Kwik fit and they immediately said that there was ample gas in the system and a recharge was pointless. They said the fault needs specialist investigation and they didn't charge me.
When the button is pressed, the light comes on but the compressor doesn't engage nor do the engine revs change. All fuses seem ok.
Does the standard aircon system generate fault codes that can be read with Multiecuscan? If I can determine what may be at fault, Kwik fit will discharge the system, and regas it when any bits are swapped. Failing that, we'll go the pro route...
