hi can anyone help me plz ive recently had a new passenger door motor fitted because ever time i try and open the locking the drivers opens but the passenger still does not work first time is this nomal or do i have to change any settings in my car

Erm not overly sure on that one, possibly is an option in the My car setup menu, but wouldnt like to say yes or no

Yes it sounds as though you have your car setup with the independant locking feature, go in to the setup menu on the CN+, you will see a list, on the list there will be a menu for locking status go in & uncheck the check box.

Even if you don't have CN+ you can still change the option to unlock only the driver's door when you press the unlock button on the remote. Check the user manual that came with your car (if you have one).

Hi my car has options, under menu/my car set up "drvr lock onff" / "Speedlock onff" / "Ind Boot onff"

If the drvr lock is set to "ON" then when you go to open the door using your fob, it'll only open the drivers door (Known as the "london feature" to stop people jumping into your cars passenger side when you unlock your car). Switched off it'll open everything.

If Ind Boot is "ON" the boot will NOT open until you use the "boot" button on your fob (twice quickly for glass lid / Finger kept on for full boot lid!)

Speedlock will lck the doors automatically when you set off over about 15Mph.

The chances are when you had your passenger door replaced. They will have disconnected the battery, reseting the my car setup - Yours by default will probably have the drivers door lock set to "ON" as mine did.
