General Stilo Abarth engine

Hey.
I have a Stilo Abarth 2,4 selespeed 2003. The enigne is destroyed. I have a new enigne in sight. But it's a abarth 2,4 with manuel gearbox from 2006. My selespeed gearbox is ok. Does the engine from 2006 fits in my 2003 model, and does the selespeed gearbox fits on the 2006 engine?

I dont know of any reason why it shouldn't fit in terms of engine block. I'm not aware of any significant revisions or model changes.

The selespeed gearboxes are physically exactly the same gearboxes as the manual, the selespeed refers to the hydraulic shift mechanism (as opposed to the gear stick and cables), so again gearboxes should mate to block no problem.

I guess you'll change the clutch at the same time, so be sure to get the appropriate calibrations done on the selespeed.
