Hello,

Does anyone have a list of the HEX codes for the Fiat Stilo to use with MES / MultiECUScan?

I have found three incompatibility issues on my Stilo 1.6 16v with ASR after fitting an Abarth cluster.

Basically, the car recognizes the cruise control and all the functions work, but the cluster does not communicate correctly with the system. Because of that, I think I need to manually force the cruise control activation through HEX coding.

The second problem is the ASR system. With the Abarth cluster fitted to the 1.6, ASR is always activated and it is impossible to deactivate it using the ASR button. For some reason, the cluster is not communicating correctly with that function.

The third problem is that the steering wheel buttons also do not communicate with the cluster.

So these are the three things I need to force or correct through HEX coding:

  1. Cruise control activation on the cluster;
  2. ASR button / ASR deactivation;
  3. Steering wheel button communication with the cluster.
Everything else works perfectly. I can confirm that all wiring is correct. There are no errors, no faults, and no missing connections.

These three incompatibilities are visible during the normal PROXI alignment process, so I believe the problem is only related to configuration / coding between the Abarth cluster and the 1.6 16v body computer.

Any help with the correct HEX codes or configuration values would be greatly appreciated.

If someone need it i find it. The hex codes of Cruise Control is the byte 41, ASR is byte 53 and steering wheel buttons is byte 33. Convert this hex numbers in binary and to turn on or off just change the first number of binary, and convert back to hex. Simple as that. A plus extra, if you want to turn on or off the oil temperature+oil pressure gauges on the abarth cluster is the byte 44.

I managed to activate the oil temperature and oil pressure gauges on my Abarth cluster.

I used a cheap oil filter sandwich plate, fitted a 1/8 NPT oil temperature sensor and a 1/8 NPT 0–5 bar oil pressure sensor, both from AliExpress.

The wiring is simple: you need to add/use the connector on the left side of the instrument cluster. Pin 1 goes to the oil temperature sensor, and pin 2 goes to the oil pressure sensor.

That’s it — it works just like the original Abarth gauges.
