Technical stilo abarth dipstick

hi could anyone tell me were i fill oil to on a stilo abarth as cant make head nor tail of the dipstick it looks like an ordinary dipstick at the bottom then it sort of coils round all the way up with no marks or anything?:bang:

You want the oil to cover the whole of the knurled part of the bottom of the dipstick

Hmmm. Mine has a flattened, etched portion, highest point on which is full and lowest point is fill!

Sorry, that's the bit I meant... I looks like it's knurled but as you say, it's flattended at the same time. Either way, when all of it's covered with oil, then it's full...
