Sticking valves (fairly urgent)

What are the symptons of sticking valves PLEASE? My car is in at the garage at the moment and they can't find the problem,I suggested sticking valves to them and they said it couldn't happen on the 1.6 bravo. PLEASE can anybody help because they are taking my car apart at the moment and it is going to cost me hundreds. Running problems

Ok andrew youve had a running problem since you had an injector repaced ...what was wrong with the first one that you had it replaced in the first place ?i suspect it failed( with a low resistance) and the engine was running on three cylinders and now its replaced its running on four and now not as smooth as it once was in the distant past ...what else has been done to the car to fix the problem and has any of the ajustments made any difference ....sticking valves isnt a problem on 1.6 engines .A leakage test would easily confirm that everything was ok mechanicaly (not compresion test) is it the correct plugs fitted is the coil ok is the timing set up (yes it can be set and ajusted using the correct tools )there is alot of things that will make it run poorly has your garage had the injectors back out to check they are all opening correctly and spaying the correct pattern just measuring resistance isnt enough it can mechanicaly fail too not just a break down of resistance in the windings cause an injector to stop operating .i wont go on but have a think about what its like what when where how .its alot easier to fix something if you have all the facts so the more detail you give the easier it is to find the solution quick

- 2 injectors were broken, both with low resitances
- They were replaced
- There started the hesitation problems most noticeably when cold but also slightly when warm
- Spark plugs have been replaced
- New phase sensor added
- New cambelt and tensioner added
- New fuel sender unit added
- Diagnostic checks show no electric problems
- New HT leads tried
- Trottle body cleaned
- Manifold gasket replaced and engine pressures checked

I don't know what it is, they don't know what it is, if you have any ideas please tell me
