Just after some more advice on this.
When I get the car, noticed the clutch was sticking. It got progressively worse and was more noticeable on warm days or after long journeys.
The car recently went into Motor Mech for a service and other work, with me mentioning the sticky clutch issue. They told me the clutch was knackered and needed replacing. No bother. I'd already got a replacement 3 piece clutch kit and slave cylinder but found the time and courage to get stuck into it.
They put the new parts in, cleaned the spring mechanism and gee it new fluids. I drove it 6 miles home on Tuesday and all seemed okay. But I've been out for a little drive today (maybe 15 miles total) and the clutch is now sticking again.
I've asked them to have it back. But what else could be causing it to stick?
