My stereo has a function where the stereo volume increases/decreases according to the speed of the vehicle.

This has now stopped working, the volume stays the same no matter how fast or slow the car's speed is.

Has anyone experienced this fault? Any fix for it (apart from my ninth visit to the dealer for warranty repairs, that is;))

Are you sure you have not turned it off accidentally or reset the radio menu?, to turn it back on go in the Stereo menu, scroll to speed volume adjustment and select either off, low or high.:)

Dont mean to sound rude but why would you want that ?

It's simply convenient on A-roads and the M4, especially when I'm accelerating and trying to listen to the news while at the ssame time changing gear or indicating!;)

It is on high... :(

Which way does it go? Speed goes up, volume goes up, or the other way around?

Imagine this.. 0.. 50.. 100.. 150.. 200.. 250.. 300.. 350.. BOOM! whole car blows up :D

I like this facility. The stereo is one of the best things about the car.

I`m not sure if my radio volume increases or decreases TBH
but when the traffic announcement kicks in on FM its so loud it startles me!!:D

Overall i think its a superb radio (not tried the cd yet) and MW reception is very good unlike my previous Citroens!

Yeah I've had that before, scared me ****less at the time lol. I had to disable it though, it become annoying.

I find my radio picks up hardly any stations though, even when I get into london theres not a lot.

London is probably too built up so your reception is poo. Whats the radio like out in the country or towns?(y)

Well in the country or my town, its really good on the stations that are there, virtually crystal clear. But it just doesn't pick up a lot of stations, my dads got a E-Class and it sounds the same as that, but he can pick up much more stations that I can't.
