Anyone want to suggest a recent, wise upgrade to their 169 Panda's stereo? Pioneer, Alipne - something with Bluetooth phone thing so you can make calls and whatnot.

Double-DIN? Single-DIN? Any knuckles left afterwards?

Any retailers to use/avoid?

Cheers.

Alpine was one of those being looked at. In practical terms, you can stream music via your phone or use a pen drive?

How does the phone/bluetooth work? You talk into the radio front or is the mike on a wire somewhere?

I just replaced an older model JVC in my panda with a JVC KD-R889BT off ebay, was just under £90.00. Comes with wiring loom and mic for hands free calls, at most you will need one of the antenna adapters.

Bluetooth functions are fantastic, as soon as it powered up for first time it paired automatically with my iphone and does so every time I start car. dedicated button for streaming from phone which works great, mainly use with spotify. Another dedicated button for calls, contacts pull through to head unit and clarity seems fine on both ends.
