am i right by saying that the stereo gets louder or boosts certain frequencies when it detects road noise, i read it somewhere but not sure whether its true, ive noticed it happen but it could be a placebo
Tis true. A mate of mine confirmed this the other day. The standard stereo increases in volume with the speed. Not sure if it only on specific models though.
There is a feature that you can switch on or off that will automatically adjust the volume for you. I leave mine off because sometimes when you slow right down or stop a lights the volume will drop right down a little to low for my liking.
It definately does. There is a setting in the menu, where you put in a factor that increases the volume, compared to speed. It was a while ago, but after a little experimentation i settled on 22 (I think).
What Model Stereos do you have? I mean i assume your talking about Fiats Standard fit radio. What model radio does the sound increase and decrease from the engine noise.
