stereo facsia styling problem thingy......

Hi all-im new to the board, and very glad i am that i found it in the end! My question is this-ive recently been given one of those groovy MP3/CD head units by my girlfriend, I was going to get the Sony cd changer for the original Grundig head, but as most of my record/CD collection is on my pc anyway,the MP3 option seems too good an offer to turn down! it's a Kenwood KDC-MP8017-the point....Does anyone know of a better facsia adapter for the Marea/bravo. The pcs ive seen of the Halfords one looks a bit crap-is this just the photo? has anyone come up with a better looking option?one that follows the angle of the dash more?Is the Fiat adapter the same? I thank you one and all if you can help me with this

Hi Neil, no its not just the pictures, it really is cr8p. And yes, the Fiat version is just as bad.
There is one other option which is similar, but it has a cover so that when you park the car up, you place the cover over the gap which looks just like the standard stereo.

I though of doing the same using Fiberglass, but 4 months later i've still not got round to it. Let us know how you get on.

Fascia

I have a really nice fascia, anyone coming to the meet can have a look, but i donnt have a digital camera or a scanner so cant post pics. Mucho better than the fiat one. I bought it off jamie who used to come on this forum, but i havent heard from him in a while. I believe he imported them from italy.
