Technical Steering wheel lights?

Thats great! No its fine dont worry. Seems like i was never ment to have lights! But im gonna run a check over the led contacts to check if they have any power, if they do im just gonna order some of those bulbs and stick em on. Thanks again.

It looks to me as though the 4 pairs of two silver solder spots nearest to each of the 4 button contact pads is where the SMD's are supposed to be soldered, however in your case they aren't so it would never have lit up.

You could use a multimeter and see if there's any power across those solder points and then solder your own in if there is.

Yea im going to do that tonight now. see if there is any power there in the first place and i have a hunch it does, so anybody have any idea about the led i need? Thanks.

Hi there! i was searching around because i have the exact same question. Should my steering wheel controls light up as the rest of the buttons?

So, gsalini... did the contacts show any voltage?
