Steering Vibration Question

Hello all, Finally bought that Fiat Bravo 1.4sx last week and picked it up. Really in nice nick both inside and out and runs very nicely too. However, I have a small problem that when I take it on the motorway, and get it up to 70 there is a lot more vibration than there should be.

My thinking is that maybe its a buckled wheel and hoping its not something more serious. Car still drives very straight and isnt pulling hard either way. Its spot on up to 60mph but above that it vibrates a lot. Still stuck to the road but just shudders a lot. Any suggestions?

Thanks as always,

Simon

Tracking, wheel alignment or wheel balancing, possibly.

could also be one or more excessively worn track-rod ends, or cv joints, or a wishbone, or just worn bushes somewhere. i expect it would vibrate a little at lower speeds too though...

I had this problem on my 1.4sx which i got fixed last week, my car had new shocks, new swing arms, new suspension bushes and had the tracking done. now it runs perfect doing the speed limit + a bit down the motorway today with no vibration at all
