Hi , ive just got myself a marea 20v and i love it!! its only done 53000 miles and sounds amazing, the only problem ive got is with the steering , when i get to over 60 the steering goes way to light and i dont feel in control! Is this how these cars feel or could there be some kind of problem? (y)

unfortunately is a common complaint

i'm now running 215/40/17 tyres and it is still too light at high speed, not quite sure how to overcome the problem, i guess you would need to change the PAS pully

fit the power steering pump from a bravo HLX or HGT, they have less assistance. alternatively modify the relief valve on your pump so it is weaker.

PS, hey bulldog long time no see

i think the coupe rack has fewer turns than the marea, making it feel more responsive, but i dont know if the turbo uses a different pump to the N/A, howver i tihnk the NA uses the same pump as the bravo HGT.
