Hello guys,

I bought a Fiat Fiorino 1.7D van with 310.000KM's on the clock.
Engine runs fine and stuff, but I've got the problem that the engine won't start after like 6 times.

I checked the battery and starter it's all fine.
So could it be my sparkplugs?
Or are there any other suggestions?
If you guys need more information I'd like to hear from you.

Greets,

Kevin.

Kevin,
If it's a Diesel, it doesn't have sparkplugs at all....!!
As a start: bring the car to a good workshop and have it serviced, or do it yourself.
One more thing: it's very important to use the cold start lever, left from the steering wheel, above your left knee.
It advances the injectionpump some degrees, necessary for every cold start.
Push it back after about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Good luck, and tell us what happenes.

I meant the glowplugs...
Today I'll check the glowplugs.
Also checked the motoroil. (it's low)
But that doesn't have anything to do with starting right?
Anyways I'll try some stuff right away.
Keep you guys updates.

Greets,

Kevin.

I've bought the new Glow Sparks.
Doesn't start any better but the stationar level has been improved due 4 new pieces. Hope to solve the starting problem asap.

Kevin.

Turned out that 3 out of 4 were dead.
Anyways idle has improved:worship:
Still starts like ****...:(

I suspect the nozzlers or the fuelpump...
Also the diesel leak is back on top of the carburator:bang:

When I use the gaspedal and play with the air intake it won't leak anymore.
Hopefully these were the things popping up:idea:
I don't like any suprise anymore
