I have a relationship with my frog. I say something nice about her and she subsequently breaks down.
I had starting problems through the cold weather, but got her going and topped up the battery (which I have now replaced with a heavy duty Varta).
After a couple of days she wouldn't crank properly – that's when I changed the battery. Anyhow, tried cranking her this am, turns over but doesn't fire and produces quite a bit of smoke from the exhaust while the starter turns the engine.
Two one or two glo-plugs don't work (coil takes a while to go out), but that was never a problem. I replaced the RPM sensor last year (solved the classic warm cut out and start problem).
So I am really stuck as have to take the family to the airport next weekend.
