Punto (Mk2/2b) Starting problem

My punto sometimes doesn't start I have check the fuel pump it seems ok when I put fuel in the air intake it fires straight away and continues to run great I have a good spark

So the car starts with spray start then?

When cranking the engine, what are you getting?
-fast and balanced
- lumpy and slow
- just slow
- turn key and nothing then starts turning
- sounds like its whizzing?
A chatter? As th gears smack each other


Is the key code light going out?

No key light some days its fine ,then other's it just turns over when it has done this I checked the plugs and they are dry no fuel getting in , pump seems ok fuel in fuel line and pressure there when released do you think it could be a realay or something
