Started to machine polish the GP

a basic method i found worked ok...

wash, clay, wash and dry car then wipe with IPA/ Panel prep.....

using a Polishing pad and megs #83 to start spread at on speed 2 ish then moved up to about 4 ->5 then after several passes went to five then back to 3 1/2 ish then see what i had there were a couple of areas where i found deeper marks and scratches so hit them with a compounding spot pad with #83 then polishing with #83 again to remove marring..
i found that megs 80 takes for ever to break down so ended up......

opting to go straight to Menz RD85 final finishing on a polishing pad and worked this in really well then buffed off.

then hand applied Dodo Lime prime Lite left several mins then buffed off

next i used Collinite 915 on a spot finishing pad with the occasional spritz of megs Last touch to lube the pad (managed to lay a nice thin coat this way) left for a min or so then buffed off...

I found a good selection of spot pads invaluable due to the amount of curves and the general shape of the GP the 4" are ideal for the doors and sides where as the 3 1/2" came in handy for the bumpers (y)

Treated black trim to a coat of AG Bumper care

I'll be honest Hellcat i have very little patience and a very short fuse..

I only picked up the polisher when i practiced on the KA and took to it like a duck to water...

I honestly believe you would have to do something incredibly stupid or be very unlucky to make a mess of your Bravo using the Kesteral DA

start with the least aggressive compound and pad and move up if your not getting any results

see what a pro quotes all in i think i paid about £200 for everything (including spot pads, extra polish a 2x500W halogen tripod)

FWIW now i have gained a bit of practice my shopping list would be.....

1x Compounding
2x Polishing
2x Finishing ^ 61/2" pads

http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/acatalog/Meguiars_6.5_Foam_Pads_1.html

(which now appear to have been discontinued :( )

a 3.5" or 4" cutting spot pad

2x 4" Polishing spot pad

2x 4" finishing pad

3.5" backing plate

that should get you going (y)

Too far then i was gonna offer to go have a bash on it for him if he wanted for a shed load cheaper than a pro would charge :p

You mean you wanted to practice on someone else's car ;) i bet the GP took me a day and a half if not 2 days to do  the KA took 8 hours and i'd clayed it the night before the ear defenders were a blessing in the end
