Technical Start-Stop unavailable and solid engine warning light - Fiat Punto Evo 1.4 Active 2010

Used the start-stop frequently for a short time in traffic and when I got out of traffic, start stop unavailable and the engine light popped on and is solid/amber. Just had an MOT pass with no issues regarding this

What can I do to fix this if I can?

There are several threads on Forum regarding this, often related to bad earthing wires or battery fault / charging/ wrong non stop start battery etc.
