General Stars and cut off after 3-4 seconds

Hy.
Can someone help me if you had similar issues? Got a coupe 20v turbo sitting for couple of months without running till battery died.
Replaced with new battery. Car starts and revs up 1500rpm and then cuts off. If I'm pressing accelerator pedal it's cutting off straight away. Light on in dashboard is fuel injector and disappearing before cutting off.
When I put the contact on, I can hear the fuel pump. Disconnect the intake fuel line going into fuel injection ramp and fuel is coming but still no luck.
Tried already couple of times to start it hoping will improve and will be running back to normal but no luck and struggling even to start now.
Checked spark plugs and all good.
Any suggestions?

Hi,

Generally that sounds like a throttle / fuelling management issue

Not Coupe specific, but "the FIAT way"


Of course the warning symbol just means "engine fault".. and you are on the 3-pin early OBD

My suspicion is it needs to re-learn

By how you approach that with a 5cyl.. No idea

Where are you based? , there are still a few Coupe guru's around

Thai is a behavior of a flat battery. You said you put a new battery, but is it charged? Also, do you have a consumer that discharges the battery while engine is turned off?

Update..
Manage to start the car using brake cleaner sprayed into admission. Car is running with 3 sensors disconnected:
- maf sensor
- idle control valve sensor
- throttle body sensor
Conecting back the sensors cutts off. Try to restart it and again, need to spray brake cleaner. Is running fine just with idle control valve sensor connected.
If try to rev up without throttle body sensor and maf sensor starts to rev up slowly to 3000-3500rpm.
