General standard wheel nuts on alloys?
As a (very) temporary measure you should be fine but change them as soon as possible
aslong as the bolts are the correct length it's fine.
I say it isn't and I have been in the motor trade since the mid 70's and run a motorists centre (repairs, tyres, exhausts etc).
Take your pick whose advice you take but is it really worth chancing when wheel nuts are not that expensive. I have seen steel wheel nuts that had 'eaten' their way right through an alloy wheel until the wheel came adrift.
As you only have one steel wheel nut on each wheel that shouldn't happen but I say is it worth chancing ruining your wheels for the sake of a few quid?
