Squealing like a pig!!

Does any one know how to stop the electric windows on my '97 SX from squealing??
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Take off the door cards, carefully prise off the soft white material and grease up the moving parts, especially the joints. I used WD40 tho

Sounds like the wormdrive needs a damn good lubing.

Take the door trim off (see here for how to http://www.bravo-guide.co.uk/ )
Then if possible take out the motor and worm drive.
Get one end of the drive and place it so it is vertical, get some plastasine (sp) or blu-tac, place it around the open end to make a funnel type thang and then drop some oil into the funnel, leave overnight so that the oil can work it's way down the drive and all should be fine.
If it's not that then lube the window runners.

If all that is a load of bolox then I am sure I'll be corrected by a more knowledgeable member
