In Leonardtown, MD. My first car show ever! I won a door prize (bottle of Armor All Tire Shine) but that's all. Still, it was fun showing off the wagon. Lots of people stopping to look. There were over 230 cars...most of them old Bel Aires and American muscle cars (Camaros, Novas, etc...)

Me and my 1973 Autobianchi Bianchina Giardiniera

The family stopped by for an hour or so:

Nick (oldest), Heather (wife), Me, Tom (youngest)

The competition: Matt's 1971 Fiat 500L

Nice to see your Giardiniera out and about - the competition looks good too.

I also have a soft spot for twin cam Alfas and have owned a few.
The car I've just finished restoring is a 1970 1750GTV. I've owned it for many years and it now sits proudly in my garage. I've attached a photo I took toward the end of the restoration.

Lovely looking Fiat you have there.

And not bad for your first show!

Well done.

Thanks...

The engine compartment was judged so it was open for the whole show...but yeah, a few of the folks who walked up to the front of the car asked where the motor was. Most wanted to know what size. I was surprised by how many people though it was a four cylinder.

You should have told them that these cars all came with a spare engine in the boot (trunk)

Fiat, I think, still has the reputation as the only car maker to offer most of the combinations of engine/drive. For example, front engine/ rear wheel drive = 124, rear engine/rear wheel drive = 500, front engine/front wheel drive = 128, etc.
And if you count the subsidiaries, you can add the mid engined cars as well (eg: Ferrari)
