Tuning Sportex exhaust

just wondering if someone could tell me how loud the sportex cat back exhaust is on a seicento, cheers

Without going custom, such as powerflow, who let you lose performance if you want to, id say spoortex is the loudest you will get.

I'm going to Longlife, as they've quoted me £120 for a stainless backbox, including fitting.

Need to ask how much for the middle section, too.

Good thing about Longlife is that you can spec. the noise level and the tail-trim design.

haha kk cheers lads, not to fussed with a custom one, i agree not tht impressed, mates got one he wishes he wd of saved £60 on a cat back system

I didnt mean powerflow, etc are carp, far from it. I meant that if you want seriously loud in a cinq then you are going to lose power due to the large bore size, etc. I have a powerflow that was setup for performance rather than noise and is fairly quite until 3k revs+. Dan

Hmm not quite true, just have a one size pipe (standard size) with no back box/slicner that will be loud. Just like a cherry bomb, the size won't be bigger.

But is not quite friendly tho

lets not forget this is for a sei and not a cinq

it is louder than standard

Be aware it isnt a full stainless system, so it will have to be replaced at some point

haha, cheers pal. ive notcied that the new sportex exhaust has a baffle in the mid section however my sx 899cc dunt! will this slow me down or make it quieter?
