However,

The op they showed in flashback tonight seemed to suggest that it had happened much previously. Obviously the authorities had time to arrest and try the perp and send him to prison, from whence he came to give evidence.

Therefore my proposition is that Adam would still have been at 6 and Tom would have been running the op.

Don't mind Spooks, it's a little slow though, compared to something like Alias. I know Alias is a little tacky and very American (not surprisingly), but they pack so much into an episode it's amazing. My missus has actually asked if it's the end before the opening titles come up, cos so much has already happened.

Bugs wasn't bad either, not as well written as Spooks IMO. I had difficulty getting to grips with Craig McLaughlin playing anyone else after being Henry in neighbours. Funnily enough I never saw bugs when it was first aired, then my missus started watching it on UK Gold.

Ah I see want you mean sorry Rally Cinq, thought you might just be a casual watcher. Clever "problem" you noticed but I guess as there's no time scale with the series it doesn't matter, does it?

I barely remember Bugs, I probably was too young to appreciate the script of Spooks with I think is in the main of a very high standard.

I agree that there is no time scale shown, but if an operation had been going on like that during the current series then surely it would have featured somewhere. A high profile Al queada (sp) plant......... etc etc

Just finished the first two episodes of series 1, damn they have gone downhill!

I thought this series was good but compared to series 1 they are bland. In these so much happens compared, it's like 3 shows in one.

I can't wait until I watch the next one.

Well the last one was the best of the series IMO, could have been better, not up to series 1 standard but i think that's the lack of Tom and rubbishy Adam.

No cliffhanger...series 1 and 2 were major cliffhangers! I thought that meant this was the last series hence was surprised "spooks will be back next year".
