Spider...bursts back into life!

Had quite a productive week, working on the Spider preparing for the M.O.T. tomorrow. But just about every wee job turned into a nightmare!

Drivers electric window making strange noises...ended up re-stringing both doors.

Windscreen wipers have been slow...ended up stripping motor, and performing open heart surgery on wiring loom/relay set.

On the plus side... got all jobs complete, including installing my new fancy distributorless ignition system, also fitted extra speakers in doors. Just when you think your winning...whilst adjusting the mixture tonight, I noticed the radiator has developed a small weep from the top header tank joint. It should be okay for tomorrow but It'll have to come out to get fixed....wish me luck.

Many occasions, the best intentions lead to a mountain out of a molehill as I've recently found out while helping out a mate's DIY bathroom renovations :laugh:

Glad you're making progress though with bits and bobs on the Spider and getting things sorted. Plenty of stuff like that needing done on the Stilo but thankfully she's still running decently and not costing much - always a bonus for an unemployed fellow

Yipee...passed MOT. Got one advisory though, slight play in bush on panhard rod. the search begins for a replacement.
