I've a bravo 1.4sx 97 and I've a bit of a prob with my speedo and rpm counter, they only work occasionally! I bought the car second hand and the original battery was in it when i got it. The speedo wasnt working then so I replaced the battery with a new one then everything worked for a few months no probs. recently its started to act up again the speedo works for a few miles then cuts out but the rev counter seems to be working most of the time but when the car is idle it moves erratically and when accelerating it drops to zero. I drive the car everyday each journey time is approx. an hour so this shud be time for the battery to charge so I don't think thats the problem. Maybe its the connection at the gearbox?
Anyone had similar probs? Or ideas on how to fix?
