Technical Speedometer get stuck?

If you want help, you have to do a bit of work yourself.

Read back through the thread. All the clues are there. If in doubt take a picture of the gearbox end of the driveshaft. Either side will do, but the nearside one will be easier to see.

Don't let this turn into a '15 inch wheel' scenario

So this is a picture under my bonnet, I'm looking back at the image that was posted but I'm struggling to find "number 6" that was posted by crazy.

Ah, its an 899..definitely wet driveshafts. Check gearbox oil as advised immediately. Do not drive car until you have.

I'm struggling to find where the plug is on the gearbox, is this under the car or is it accessible from the opening the bonnet?

I have tried to google this, look on previous threads and check my handbook but I'm still confused. :(

Is the image I linked able to help in this case to give me an idea of where to start looking?

Sometime you have to review the entire thread to find the info.

You will also find on the site the workshop manual for the car which will help too.

Nope. Gearbox has its own special gear oil. There is a plug in the front face of the box. Undo and stick pinky in. Oil should be up to the bottom of the hole.
