I changed the lights in my speedo from the standard green to a blue one, but they don't seem to work.

Any advice?

what dont work, the actual bulbs or the blue shine? cos its not straight forward replacing standard bulbs to blue bulbs to shine blue so im told. You have to take the glue off the actual black board itself or somethin or other.

i may be wrong but sure i got told this few years back when a mate did it.

Thats more or less right mikey, the speedo dial themselve have a green layer it can be removed but its a hardous task, you would be just aswell to buy different dials dependant on the model of bravo you have.

White dials where produced for the MKI 1.6 and 2.0 with the analouge mileage clock and dials where also produced for the MKII 2.0 with the digital mileage.

I had a MKII 1.8 which only showed 140mph on the clocks so couldn't use either of the above, so i used a decent scanner took the clock dials out and scanned them to my PC converted them to a Jpg image and used a photoshop software to badger n create blue\white, Orange\White, White\Orange & White\Blue faced dials i printed them on normal paper with a colour laser jet printer and then laminated they looked fine during the day but didn't give that disired neon affect at night, none the less they looked good to me.

yer i thought it were something like that, knew it was a green layer just couldnt think right but i knew what i meant lol ha :)

I thought that it would be a simple plug and play deal, but obviously not.
