hi all thanks for letting me join the site.
I’m currently restoring my wife’s topolino.
I’m in Australia which has been challenging getting things.
The car was a basket case with rusted out floors and had been hit on every corner at some stage in its life.
I’m needing some help in a few areas.
1) the gauge faces are very yellow and I can’t get them to clean up after polishing so I’m guessing I’ll need to get new ones.
2) window latches for both doors
3) it’s a solid roof car not a soft top and I can’t see how a hood lining would go in.
I have the bows but I’m a bit perplexed how you’d tension a lining over doors opening and front and back.
Any pics or clues would be appreciated.
So far I have as you can see painted the car, I’ve run all the wiring and I’m now going to through fixing what I have to make it look good.
All the brake lines and wheel cylinders master have been done.

Hi Paddy, how are you getting on with the Topo. I am the president of the Victorian Fiat Car Club and can put you in touch with a number of Topo guys who have and are restoring currently. Cheers Roger

I may also be able to help you with gauge faces as I have made replacements in the past ..... did you want to take the opportunity to go metric in the speedo?

Hi Roger,
Thanks for reaching out.
I did get some made here in Wa, and while I was at it I did go klms per hour.
I’ve sent some pics to show where I’m at with the car.
I’m starting on the motor which is not my strong suit.
I’m really in need of an English workshop manual if you know how I can get a hold of one.
